Saw blades are the most basic and common obstacle in Super Meat Boy. They first appear in Chapter 1, level 2 as decoration, and first appear as an obstacle in level 6.

Basic SawsEdit

They are stationary, fast rotating saws that kill on contact. They vary in size from tiny saws in one block tall corridors to giant saws that dominate a whole level.

First appearance: 1-2 "Upward"

First obstacle appearance: 1-6 "Bladecatcher"

Last appearance: 7-20X "Brag Rights"

Moving SawsEdit

Moving saws are moving versions of saw blades, usually moving back and forth vertically or horizontally, but in some levels they go in a square formation or more complacated. They also vary in size as much as normal saws.

First appearance: 1-13 "Tommy's Cabin"

Last appearance: 7-20X "Brag Rights"

Rotating SawsEdit

Rotating saws are saws that rotate in a circle around a central point. They are a separate obstacle from saw blades but are very similar.

First appearence: 1-17 "Morningstar"
