For the Expert Chapter level in Meat Boy, see 10. Sky Pup.
Sky Pup is the first Warp Zone level of The Forest in Super Meat Boy, and the first Warp Zone level in the game. It can be found in 1-5 Holy Mountain. Like all Warp Zone levels, it contains three segments. It uses an 8-bit aesthetic.
All three segments share a theme, in which Meat Boy must fall down to a lower platform to progress. The third segment features an early appearance of saw shooters, a few levels before their main level debut. It contains two bandages, in the first and third segments respectively.
Strategy[]
1-1[]
To clear this segment, the player must drop down near the row of saws, then jump across and wall-jump to reach Bandage Girl.
Bandage[]
The bandage in this segment is to the left of the main part of the level. The safest option is to jump down to a small ledge to the left of the starting platform., then jump onto the singular, leftmost block to reach the bandage.
1-2[]
This segment features no saws, but a greater risk of falling. In order to progress, the player will need to fall off the bottom-left platform, land on its wall, then wall-jump to the other side. Then, they must climb up to Bandage Girl.
Bandage[]
The bandage is within an opening to the center of the level. To reach it, wall-jump onto the bottom platform. When centered just right, Meat Boy can slide into the hole above him, and wall slide up to reach the bandage.
1-3[]
Most of the platforms in this level have saw shooters firing at them. The player will need to time their jumps so they do not land on a saw projectile when reaching a platform or wall.
